Colin Birge, Ph.D. is a product manager in Microsoft Education. He is responsible for driving customer connection and partnerships throughout Canada for Microsoft’s worldwide Education Engineering team, as well as driving the Microsoft Forms for Education assessment service. Dr. Birge has over a decade of experience in higher education as an instructor, senior IT staff member, and researcher. Before returning to education Dr. Birge worked as a consultant and Microsoft program manager, helping design software and services used by millions. His research and professional interests include educational technology, user-centered and inclusive design, and usable privacy & security. Dr. Birge holds a Ph.D. from the University of Washington in human-centered design and engineering.
